Curatorial & Selected Exhibitions
The following body of work was developed during my time at ANIMA GALLERY, where I worked as Curator & Art Consultant across more than 30 exhibitions.
The role centered on the artistic and conceptual dimensions of each project, identifying artists, developing curatorial frameworks, and building dialogues between works and ideas. The focus was always on what happens before the work reaches the wall, and sometimes, on transforming the work itself.
A defining thread of this practice was pushing artists beyond their primary medium — challenging painters and image-based artists to undertake a dimensional translation of their work, expanding two-dimensional compositions into sculptural objects, site-specific relief installations, and sculptural wall-mounted works. This process of medium transposition, rare in a private gallery context, became one of the most significant outcomes of this body of work.
