Hilton Kite Beach Resort

Commissioned by Qatar Airways, Fuwairit Kite Beach Resort encompasses over 76,000 square meters of coastal development, with an extensive art program inspired by kitesurfing culture, environmental sustainability, and the surrounding landscape.

Developed and delivered through Anima Gallery, with Mohamad Makouk overseeing art consultancy and project management, the program brought together artist selection, bespoke commissions, production coordination, and the integration of artworks throughout the resort.

The external architecture serves as a continuous canvas for large-scale murals, while bespoke wallpapers, commissioned artworks, and site-specific interventions extend the artistic narrative into guest rooms, dormitories, and communal spaces.

Across the landscape, more than twenty sculptures incorporating recycled ocean plastics and salvaged metals explore the relationship between artistic expression and environmental responsibility. A custom-designed tile installation transforms the resort's swimming pool into a submerged artwork, its composition shifting with the movement and reflection of water.

Together, these interventions establish a cohesive artistic identity for the resort, where contemporary art, architecture, sport, and the coastal environment converge.
