SHE LOVES ME, HE LOVES ME NOT, Kezban Arca Solo Exhibition

In She loves me… He loves me not, the Turkish artist Kezban Arca engages with the instability of desire, where affection, projection, and illusion shift between certainty and doubt. Drawing from cinematic imagery and popular culture, the works construct scenes that feel familiar yet remain unresolved.

Arca’s compositions operate within a space of tension, where figures are both present and staged, caught between performance and introspection. Color and gesture amplify this ambiguity, allowing emotion to surface without settling into a fixed narrative.

Rather than offering resolution, the exhibition sustains a cycle of anticipation and withdrawal. Meaning unfolds through repetition and variation, where each image holds the possibility of connection, only to unsettle it again.
