Marc Quinn’s first solo exhibition in the Middle East brought together recent sculptures and paintings exploring identity, the human body, nature, and the shifting line between science and perception. The exhibition featured large-scale iris paintings from We Share Our Chemistry with the Stars, enlarged fingerprint works from the Labyrinth series, and a group of sculptures and paintings that turned to shells, orchids, and river landscapes as points of reflection on beauty, transformation, and human intervention in the natural world. Across the exhibition, Quinn’s use of varied materials and monumental scale created a dialogue between the intimate and the elemental, the biological and the sculptural.
