Suspended across the ceiling plane, the installation traces a continuous, flowing trajectory through the space. Composed of hundreds of faceted acrylic elements, it captures and disperses light, producing a shifting field of reflections that evolves with movement and time.
Located in Hefei, a rapidly expanding city shaped by technology, infrastructure, and constant transformation, the work reflects a condition of acceleration and fragmentation. The installation reads as a constructed current, a moment of energy suspended mid-motion, where individual elements align into a larger system.
Developed through precise cutting and hot bending, each component is calibrated to maintain both clarity and structural consistency. The use of colorful acrylic allows light to pass, split, and project onto surrounding surfaces, extending the work beyond its physical boundaries.
Within Xinhaitiancheng, the piece establishes a visual identity that is immediate and legible. It does not rely on scale alone, but on the accumulation of detail, where repetition, variation, and light produce a continuous spatial experience.
