Habitas Resort

Commissioned by Qatar Airways, the art program at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq integrates contemporary craftsmanship with the desert landscape of western Qatar.

A six-meter bespoke sculpture anchors the entrance, establishing the visual identity of the resort and referencing the geological formations of Ras Abrouq. Across the property, handcrafted works by regional artisans are integrated into guest villas, bathrooms, dining spaces, and communal areas.

Woven fibers, carved wood, and hand-finished metal pieces reflect the material language of the desert while aligning with the Habitas philosophy of simplicity and connection to place.

The result is a resort where craft, landscape, and hospitality operate as a single environment.
